VIVID Sydney

 The annual Sydney Vivid Festival is always a spectacular event, with the main attraction being the transformation of Sydney opera house via projection mapping.

It was a real privilege to be brought on board by Ash Bolland, Luxx.tv and Spinifex to help bring this year's theme, Audio Creatures, to life.

I modelled and textured 4 of the creatures from Ash's concept artwork.  From then I continued to rig, light and animate the final two characters for the end of the show.  A mix of traditional poly modelling techiniques mixed with cinema4d's mograph module, was used to give these creature forms both faithful to Bolland's design yet flexible enough for detailed animation.

To complement the design, it was an honour to have the sound design for this year by legendary musician Amon Tobin.
